🎽 Ford C Max Central Locking Problems

I have a central locking problem. First I had to get a new key fob remote direct from ford - £110 later, a fully functional remote! Now drivers door does not unlock, this also affects fuel flap. Press unlock on remote - boot, nsf, nsr, osr doors all open. Hi, My 2011 Grand C Max Titanium remote central locking has stopped working. When you press the lock or unlock button on the fob nothing happens. The lights don't flash and it doesn't lock or unlock. I have put brand new Duracell batteries in both the fobs but it hasn't fixed it. The remote keyless system and the central locking system in S-Max require the 12 volt battery to be in healthy state to function properly. If the 12 volt battery is dead or if the electric current has been interrupted due to corrosion on the battery terminals or the ground connection, all on-board electronics will stop working. The upshot of my lock problem was the lock had completely failed. Ford wanted £95 an hour to try to get into the boot. Once I'd got the seats out it took me half an hour to get the bulkhead trim off and unbolt the latch. Once the boot was open it was easy to get the tailgate trim off and unholy the lock. Yes, the locking mechanism operates on the drivers door. Its a sensor type issue of some kind, the lock itself is opening and closing correctly from another handle. RUfS.
